We sign in not to say hello to Sharon (and Don) as we could simply telephone, but to leave a message for those looking for a Golden through a respected and reputable breeder.

Two weeks ago, we celebrated Abby’s (from Our Miss Pearl and Tyler breeding) three month birthday. We are not newcomers to the breed as our Abby is our sixth Golden and joins our 3 year old Golden, Ziva. While we could have signed in earlier, we wanted some time to pass to reflect on our experience before writing.

We are unabashed lovers of the breed who believe strongly in the breed standard and well adjusted/healthy dogs. In our opinion, a great Golden is the result of a carefully considered breeding program (attention to health clearances and breed standard) and the pup’s early environment.

Where Sharon Rattler really distinguishes herself is in her attention to the litter’s environment. Sharon and Don's physical “set-up” with defined areas in their home was planned to provide maximum human interaction with the pups. In our opinion, this is essential in developing well-adjusted pups.

We can state unequivocally that our Abby was BY FAR the most well adjusted pup of our five previous Goldens. We do not think this happened by accident.

After all, how many breeders with many years of experience actually get misty eyed when you pick up your pup to go home? This is Sharon. She loves your pup (and it shows) before you do.

Thank you Sharon and Don.

Bill and Nancy Rosenberger

Hi from Ohio,
Since picking up our puppy, Miss Jersey, when I was 11, she has a been an absolute joy and a great best friend. She is a pretty, playful Golden and can't stop wagging her tail every single time we go play in my grandma's big pasture with her little brother, Foster, an Australian Cattle Dog. She's loving, friendly, and obedient; I couldn't ask for better.
Sincerely,
Hannah

Hi Sharon,

We are so very happy to have found you!  You have such beautiful goldens!  Thank you for letting us come visit and meet everyone.  We enjoyed getting to see all your goldens - especially Diamond!  Usually we do not look forward to an end of a trip - but we will be looking forward to the end of this trip when we get to bring Diamond home.

We really enjoyed meeting you and Don.  What wonderful people you are!  We can't thank you enough for Diamond and we will always stay in touch with you - sharing lots of pictures of Diamond!

Thank you for your passion and dedication for caring and breeding such beautiful golden retrievers! Anyone who has a Goldminer golden is very lucky!

Lisa, John & Sophie

My Mother 's Day is extra full of love with the addition of our newest member of the family, Docker. He is Pearl and Tyler's boy! he is the sweetest boy whose temperament is everything you could want in a golden-docile, alert, friendly, cautious, playful, and smart! He is so handsome- no surprise considering his gene pool and he makes us laugh constantly! thank you Sharon for being such a blessing as his first mom....you loved him completely and we will continue to do so. We are so happy with Scout. He is everything we were looking for in a Golden. We did some serious bonding on the 5 hour drive home and it was worth every minute of it. You have achieved your goal, because you have made these two "old" folks happy in our retirement. I already have people wanting your number from this area.

Dear Sharon,
Our Miss Pearl is already a hit in Habersham !!!
She is adapting beautifully and getting along well with Miss Scarlett and Miss Annie. She loves her romps with them. Thank you again for what you do. You certainly have made a wonderful difference in our lives.

Fondly,

Sharon,

We (Larry and I ((KAY)) want to express our deep appreciation for your generous networking on our behalf to find us a puppy after ours died at 4 with a brain tumor! We are ever so thankful. Through your efforts we've adopted a 1/12 year old golden from Southern Gold Kennels in Atlanta, GA. Her name is Memphis and she's a nice calm little girl. We were used to a very rambunctious fellow so this is a nice refreshing change for us. Everyone who meets her is amazed at her calm demeaner. I'm looking forward to starting her on her journey to become a therapy dog. She's learning some commands she'll need to use and seems to be a very quick learn. Hopefully within 6 months she'll be a registered therapy dog. Gotta go.....electric company is here and going to work on electric lines...another long story!!

THANKS!

Kay Kane
